J2 joke about the altitude in Denver. Talked about how it definitely affects you while drinking lol.
They ask how fans what they thought about Baby? Fans loved it. They talk about how they were surprised by all the funny moments, such as the head being moved by the wiper blade.
Fan gets emotional, Jared reminds her she’s around family. Fan thanks J2 for saving her life and inspiring her to write a book after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
Was there a pivotal moment in your life where you figured out who you were? Or are you still trying to figure that out? Jared: Yes to both. Says he had to figure it out over the summer. Talks about the two week break where he stopped “spinning his wheels.” He says he was asked why are you staying so busy, what are you running from? Jared had to answer that question for himself.
Jared: Two favorite music cues are Styx - “Renegade” and David Bowie’s “Space Oddity.” Says one was badass and one was hilarious. Jensen talks about all of the good sizzle reels they’ve had, such as the recent one with the reaper Billie and how Lisa (who plays her) did an amazing job.
They said that Lisa is a huge fan of the show and that her and fiance cosplay as them. One day when she was finished filming with Jensen she just hung around on set, asked them to sign her DVD’s.
Jensen also liked the sizzle reel with Johnny Cash’s “God’s Gonna Cut You Down.”
Jensen is asked if it’s a coincidence that he was born in Dallas in the late 70′s and that his initials are J.R? Jensen says that his dad actually played J.R.’s doctor when he was shot (on the Dallas tv show) and that as a kid they used to visit his dad on set.
They were given some type of Winchester ale. Jared: “’Cause we’re not the Losechesters.” Fans cheer.
Fan met James Marsters last month and was wearing a Supernatural shirt. James: “I love that shirt;” he was saying a bunch of nice stuff about J2. When the fan said she was going to be seeing the boys James said to tell them that they were the best professional experience he ever had. J2 joke: “We’re not paying him enough.” Boys have a lot of love for James.
Jensen: Anyone comes in with a stick up their ass it gets removed quickly - we don’t have time for that. Talks about it being a fun set.
What kind of engine is in baby? The one they sit in the most is a 502 Chevy Big Block. The stunt one is different, as well as #3 they use for sound ordinances especially at night.
Fan asks about Gilmore Girls revival - Jensen: I can’t wait. Jared is asked: Where is that Dean in his life? Jared says he hopes he’s still at Doose’s Market: man of the cash register lol. Jensen jokes that Jared played the child Dean, Jensen plays the man Dean.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Dream career job? Jensen: (old man voice) Sam, salt gun!
Jared in 10 years just wants to spend a lot of time with his kids. Jensen doesn’t know where he’ll be in 10 years, and he likes that. He hopes that he is able to spend more time with his family then he gets to now. They understand what they’re doing now and how important it is. J2 have had these conversations about when “enough is enough?” They could have wrapped years ago and been proud. But it’s bigger than them and they still find joy and inspiration in doing it. “We’re really fortunate” and they love that and love doing it and love the family. They don’t do it because they need their faces on TV. Jensen to Jared: Did I just make you cry? Jared: It’s allergies.
For Dean, Jensen doesn’t reference anything in the past; characters are constantly evolving. Jensen would only go back as far as three eps of the last season for example. He’ll watch eps in the past for entertainment but not for those Dean references while acting.
Fan asks what they look forward to with family, like family vacations, etc? Jensen talks about how J2 and their wives and kids got to spend some time together yesterday. Talks about flying kites with JJ and looking forward to playing catch with one of Jared’s boys. They are looking forward to when the kids are old enough to play like that.
Jared is looking forward to when his sons come to him for help when they need advice and those pivotal moments in their lives.
Jensen talks about watching movies with JJ and how one time while watching JJ got closer and closer to Jensen and JJ was eventually cradling Jensen’s head and when Danneel came in and asked what was going on he told Danneel to leave it alone because he loved it lol.
Jared (teasing Jensen about loving kid movies) jokes that yesterday when Jensen had the iPad he heard JJ saying she wanted to watch The Godfather but Jensen said, “Shh, Ice Age is on!” LOL
Fan gives thanks to the wives and families for sharing Jared and Jensen with them. Jensen: We certainly married out of our pay grade.
Pranks at conventions? Jared: Jensen broke a tambourine one time. Jensen: I just break stuff, which isn’t really a prank. J2 don’t really have the time to pranks at cons. Jensen says they just “swoop in” mentions how they have to be on set at 7am tomorrow. Jared says that they are more vulnerable because the rest of the cast has already been there for two days before J2 arrive and they could be planning stuff.
Best prank on Misha? Jared: The pie was the worst, worried he broke his nose. Jensen: Probably did which explains why he looks the way he does.
The boys talk about how when Misha was directing they got together and had a brainstorming session. Made a list and everything which they still have. They intended to not prank on day 6 or 7, for example, as a form of psychological warfare. The problem was they didn’t get to pull of all of the pranks because Misha took many precautions to try and thwart them. They were able to do the pie, rig his director’s chair to fall when he sat in it, and, after duplicating the sсript, destroyed Misha’s director’s sсript. They were planning on messing with his apartment by opening windows, removing furniture, basically ice him out with no pillows or blankets but that didn’t happen either.
